Privacy policy
Honey Card lets you make a card and share it with a link. This page lists what we store, what becomes public, and how to delete it.
What we store
- What you type into your card: name, role, company, your sentence and other text, email, phone, website.
- A photo, if you add one.
- Your choices: which details are shown, style, languages, and whether the card is published.
- An account ID created automatically on first use, and your email only if you choose to link one.
- Records needed to run the service, such as when the card was published or edited.
- Business cards you choose to save in your card book: the name, company, title, email, phone and website you type, or the public details of a Honey Card link you save. They are stored in your account so they appear on the web and in the app.
What becomes public
Nothing is public until you publish. After you publish, the details you chose to show can be seen by anyone with the link or QR code. Unpublish or delete at any time.
Unpublishing or deleting can’t take back contact files or screenshots that people already saved.
What stays on your device
When you add a card, the photo of the card you received stays on your phone and is not uploaded. The details you type are saved to your card book in your account only when you tap Save. You can also create a contact file on your phone.
Camera and photos
Used only when you choose a photo for your card or take a photo of a card you received.
How we use it
Only to provide Honey Card: saving your card, showing it at your link, and keeping it in sync between your devices. No ads, no selling of data, no tracking across other apps.
Service providers
Your data is stored with Supabase (database and photo storage), and the website runs on Vercel. If you choose email sign-in, the sign-in code email is sent through Resend. The website uses Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights, without cookies, to count page views and measure page speed.
Deleting your data
Your profile, photos and card book are kept until you delete them or delete your account. A card you saved from someone’s Honey Card link stays in your card book as a copy even if they later unpublish it; only the link may stop opening.
In the app, open your profile and choose “Delete account and card”. On the web, use the same button in the studio. This deletes your card, public link, photos, card book and account.
